In total, every shared flat has enough room for three to four people and is fitted with a communal kitchen, bathroom and landing.

What appliances come with the kitchen?
Volkswagen Immobilien fits the shared flats with a cooker, a fridge with a freezer compartment and an extractor hood.

What do I need to bring for my stay?
You will only need your own dishes, pots and pans, bed linen, pillow and duvet.

Where do I do my washing?
As a tenant, you will have access to the washing machines and tumble driers in the basement (the machines are not free to use).

How are the communal areas cleaned?
The communal areas are cleaned by the residents. We recommend a cleaning rota to avoid disagreements. The stairwell is cleaned by a contractor on a monthly basis.

Is Wi-Fi available in the shared flats?
Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi with optical fibre is available in some flats. Each room has its own internet connection via network cable. The corresponding cable is available.

Can I view the shared flat first?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer viewings due to our short notice period for termination (one month). Please see the sample images in our gallery for an overview of the flat.

Will I get to know my roommates in advance?
Unfortunately, due to data protection, it is not possible to provide you with the contact details of your future roommates.

Are there gender-specific shared flats?
We prefer a colourful mixture and a mixed tenant structure.

Am I allowed to sublet my room or occupy it with multiple people?
Subletting is generally prohibited, as is multiple people occupying the same room.

Consideration.

Am I allowed to bring pets?
Out of consideration for your roommates (i.e. allergies), please do not bring pets into the flat.

Is smoking permitted in the flat?
Smoking is prohibited in the communal areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, WC and landing. We cannot forbid smoking in the private rooms, but please have consideration for your roommates.

Infrastructure and traffic.

Is public transport available?
There are bus stops in the direct vicinity of the blocks of flats.
The city centre is just 7 km away (train/bus station) and buses run straight to the VW plant.
The bicycle network in Wolfsburg and the surrounding area is also excellent.

Where can I park my car?
All of the shared flat complexes have sufficient parking spaces.

Can I chain up my bicycle?
There is room for your bicycle in the basement.
