Thinking sustainability further.
Volkswagen Immobilien follows its own sustainability standard, which goes far beyond the legal requirements. This benefits the environment – and your wallet.
A future-oriented and sustainable real estate industry is based on four core objectives: Energy efficiency, environmental awareness, economic efficiency and user orientation. We have firmly anchored these in our in-house sustainability standard Blue Building. Because we want to leave the smallest possible ecological footprint, Blue Building even goes quite a bit further than required by law.
The new rental flats being built in Fallersleben meet the KfW 55 EE standard, i.e. the KfW Efficiency House 55 requires only 55 per cent of the energy of a conventional new building. This means that CO2 emissions are also significantly lower.
Your advantages with Blue Building:
- Significant savings in energy costs
- Pollutant-free building products
- Optimum indoor air climate
- Lower maintenance and care costs
- Increased sound insulation
- Higher living safety
- High-quality designed outdoor facilities
- Low-barrier buildings
